Matchbox ’74 Volkswagen Type 181: 2009 #93 Outdoor Sportsman (Blue)
This release is light blue with front and rear detailing. It has a white interior, a smoked windscreen, and a black plastic base on Ringed Disc wheels.
This is car 5 of 12 in the Outdoor Sportsman series. There is an orange variant of this release.
For the first year of release this casting was labelled ’75 Volkswagen Thing, but from 2009 onward appears as ’74 Volkswagen Type 181.
Hot Wheels Meyers Manx: 2009 Connect Cars #50
This release was included with a Lego-like interconnecting case. The series consists of 50 cars, with each fashioned in some manor after a USA state. This was car 50 of the Connect Cars series and was aptly assigned the state of Hawaii.
The car is metallic blue with a blue-tint windshield and black interior. It rolls on small/large 5SP wheels and has brown/white/blue “HAWAII” surf graphics on the hood and sides.
Hot Wheels Volkswagen Truck: 2008 100% Hot Wheels 40th Anniversary (Black and White)
This custom Type 2 Pickup is black and white with black and red flames and red surfboards. Its clear windows shield a black interior, and its black metal base rides on Real Rider wheels.
This was released as part of the 100% Hot Wheels 40th Anniversary series. There is also a Blue variant.

Matchbox Refuse Truck (1979): 1993 #36
This bright orange trash truck has a white compactor unit wearing “Dispoal Unit-24” door decals, an “Colectomatic” emboss across the compactor front, and trash disposal pictographs on the upper corners. Its has purple windows and a black metal base rolling on 5 Arch wheels.
The plastic compactor on this well-played unit has naturally yellowed over time.

Matchbox 1962 Volkswagen Beetle: 2001 Wings ‘n Water 5-Pack
This Metallic Purple beetle figures a black ragtop and smoked windows. It’s sides are adorned with blue and black fish against a purple background, and it rolls on chrome lace wheels beneath a chromed plastic base.
This appeared in the “Wings ‘n Water” 5-pack.
Matchbox 1962 Volkswagen Beetle: 1999 #53 Beach
This black Beetle features teal doors with a white pinstripe. “MATCHBOX” is written across its clear windshield, behind which is a teal interior. Split 5-spoke wheels roll beneath its chromed plastic interior.
This was #3 of 5 in the 1999 “Beach” series.
